The image seems to be taken back at the time when Hitler dictated Germany or Stalin dictated Rome, though the image has many things to be talked about, but as far as my observation is concerned there is no flag or symbol to identify it as a particular country.

The reasons why I suppose it to be either Germany or Rome is because of the clothes and the shoes that the people are wearing and the all over situation in the image. When clubbed together, it seems to be a country having extreme weather and it looks like the people have been made to stand in discipline for the arrival of some leader or specifically a dictator.

Looking at the symmetry of the people standing on the left hand side, it seems like they have been given a punishment and have been hanged, because on the first glance at their it seems like they are hanging in the air, but when we look with focus it is clear that they are standing on the footpath, so the new scenario can be that they have been made to stand in line and are to be executed on the arrival of the dictator as a showcase of power and as an example for the people of the country as to what will be the conclusion if they do a crime or anything against the will of the dictator.

Looking at the people standing in the supposed punishment, it is clear that all of them are poor, their boots are torned, and the clothes are not of appropriate size, we can clearly see the hand of a person whose white inner sweater has very long sleeves while the coat he’s wearing above that has short sleeves, it seems like he just wore the clothes that he got as donations in order to feel warm and save himself from the cold winds.

Due to the black and white colour scheme of this image, it isn’t clear whether the liquid on the side of the road is just clogged water or something else. But according to my observation, I suppose it to be the blood of the people executed before this lot, it seems to be fresh, bringing us to the conclusion that the last execution wasn’t long ago, just a few hours back.

When we look at some of the people in the beginning of the line, we can see them watching the convoy which is approaching them, they might be scared, because along with the convoy of the supposed dictator which is lead by some soldiers on the horse, their death is also approaching them, but when we look at the young girl, she’s looking away towards the camera, which signifies her innocence as a child as she is unaware of the cruelty that resides in this world.

The camera angle through which the image has been taken is a bit weird, though it’s clear that the image has been taken by someone standing on the road and not on the the footpath, it can be one of the soldiers guarding these people, also through the angle it seems like the image has been taken by someone in a hurry who was scared of getting caught.

This image personifies the cruel world where children are the only innocent unaware beings just trying to figure out what is happening around.
